3rd Grade Explorer Article for Webpage

As young architects, the Heritage third grade Explorer classes completed their house design unit by creating amazing floor plans. Students began with a small sketch and finished with a completed floor plan blueprint drawn to scale for their clients. Each unique design, drawn to include approximately 2,500 square feet, incorporated at least three bedrooms, two full baths, kitchen, living room, and dining area. Students studied professional floor plans of all kinds before taking on the design challenge. The final products were displayed for parents at the “House Design – Open House” on Tuesday, Jan.26th in the Athena room.
